It doesn’t always show up on a mountain as the devil asking us to throw ourselves off a cliff. We know that sin can and oftentimes is used to tempt us and we’re usually aware when this happens. Stealing money out of someone’s wallet or purse, committing adultery, or killing someone is sin and its pretty easy to see. Temptation, however, doesn’t always use sin and it can be much more subtle and often disguise itself as things that on the outside may seem ok and it can use things that generally are ok, so we must first be able to recognize temptation, we need to watch for it.
