I found this ledger and have adapted it to fit my youth group needs. It has 2 columns: General Fund Account and Student Accounts. For all of our fundraisers, the profits are divided. 1/3 of the profits go into the youth fund to cover things like start up funds for fundraisers, rental fees for afterburners, promotional items, chaperone expenses on youth trips, parking, etc. The remaining 2/3’s are divided amoung the young people who participated in the fundraiser and by how much they participated. This ledger is a great way to see exactly how much is in these two accounts and where every penny goes. It also has a Summary Page for each month and quarter which is what I give to my Pastor. It also includes a Yearly Summary Page for the Annual Board Meeting/All Saints Meeting which I have to present to the church. Hope this helps your finance department!
