Sometimes, we get so caught up in doctrine, programs and deep thoughts, we can forget about some of the most important parts of the journey that is student ministry. This is a very simple but effective 3 part series focusing on getting students all pointed in the same direction, for the same purpose.
The three lessons focus on the build up of a GPS: the compass, map and guiding voice. Figuratively, these are prayer, the Word and Jesus calling. Each lesson is built with discussion questions, full lessons and a focused challenge for your students. The download link includes all lessons and media required for presenting this series.
This series uses the 5 I format, created by 7 Minute Fix. Introduce (introduce the subject for the lesson), include (include the students by asking yes or no questions so that they are more comfortable with discussion), invest (invest in the students by teaching the lesson), involve (involve the students by asking questions to prompt discussion), and invoke (invoke and challenge the students).
